Eligibility is simple. The work must be by an Australian citizen or Australian resident and have been published within the calendar year.
The 2006 award will be awarded to works published between January and December 2006. Submissions will only be accepted from 15th April - 31st December each
year.
The story/novel/collection/anthology must have horror content either as a focal point or an integral element of the
work. Dark Fiction will also be accepted.
There are no submission or
nomination forms to fill in. Anyone - including judges - can nominate a flash, short story, collection, novel, poem,
anthology etc by passing on the details of the work to the Director (Marty Young
for 2006), who will then contact the author or publisher and ensure review copies reach the judges.
Entries can also be sent directly to the Director. Please send 3 copies of each submission so they can be forwarded to the
Judging Panel, clearly stating if you want the publication returned.
