Pamela Farley

Pam Farley lives in rural South Australia with children, dogs, horses, cats, rabbits, chickens, a Ducati motorcycle and a husband. With such a menagerie she can not afford to give up her day job as a senior veterinary nurse.

Pam has written over fifty short stories - mostly horror, or at the very least not with happy endings - four novel length tales and one novella.

Nine of her short stories have been published by Ripples magazine and two by the English short story publication Delivered. Another of her stories is to be published in Writer's World's 2009 anthology. On-line magazine Writing in the Raw has published one of her stories and another will be featured in the August 2010 edition of the Write Angle.

In 2007 her short story Touchtyping was a finalist in the ABC regional short story competition. There were 1800 entries.

She is secretary of her local writer's group and has had three short stories published in their 2009 anthology.

Her first novel has been released for sale as a kindle book through Amazon. The Boy of Hearts is the story of a young monk with supernatural powers living in the seclusion of a Tibetan hermitage. His talents are exploited by an Australian millionare with tragic consequences for the man's family.
